Who I Am

I’m a builder—just like you—turning sketchbook ideas into tools that make work safer, smarter, and repeatable. My mission is simple: take the pain out of setup, make every cycle count, and keep you in control.

I’m the builder and designer behind PressIQ, a digital hydraulic press controller created from real shop experience and a drive to build a better way. After wanting more precision, repeatability, and control from my own forging press, I started designing a system that could do what I needed without the high cost and complexity of industrial controls. What began as a personal solution turned into a much larger project, with countless hours spent building, testing, refining, and improving both the hardware and software in real-world use.

My approach is hands-on and practical, with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and making the system straightforward for other builders to assemble and use. PressIQ reflects that mindset — a tool built by a builder, for builders.
